Saturday June 9th 2001 - Toy & literature show

Saturday afternoon means toy & literature show at the Crowne Plaza hotel. One of the confrence rooms on the 2nd floor is filled with vendors of all kinds of VW related memorabilia. Anything from literature, toys, pins, t-shirts to spotlights & skateboards. It's a good place to find something nice to bolt to the bumper of your car or to display in your office.

Neal had put a VW Euro poster on display and he was really trying to sell people on a trip to Holland. You should become a touroperator :-)
The guys from cal-look.com have a stand at the show as well. I wanted to buy some window decals, by John (Plow) wouldn't take my cash (good to see ploon.nl has some street cred in the USA :-) so i gave him a pin instead. I told him about the burnouts at the Dairy Queen and he told me that the last bit of the Berg Rally was even better!
